Meadows School of the Arts

Dallas, Texas 75275
United States
School Phone: +1 214 768 2129
School Website: www.smu.edu
Program Description: At the Meadows School of the Arts, something as routine as a walk down the hall is inspiring. In the room on your right, a soprano works on a particularly difficult passage. Two doors down, a cellist plays Vivaldi. As you walk on, the notes segue into rhythmic tapping as a writer edits a story. Near the vending machine, a rehearsal for “A Streetcar Named Desire” is under way. Where else could a trip to the restroom be such a trip? At the Meadows School of the Arts, we’ve built a community of artists from all disciplines. A place where students are inspired and challenged, not just by their professors, but by all those around them. Our students aren’t just students—they’re the creative talent the world will be talking about in the very near future. And they’re preparing for that future under the direction of some of the best teachers anywhere. Whether they long to be musicians, painters, actors, writers, art directors, filmmakers, advertising executives, or dancers, or long simply to know what their specific calling is, the Meadows School of the Arts offers students an address as well as a direction. Come join us. It’s a wonderful neighborhood.
